WHAT IS A MACARON?

A macaron is a little bite of heaven…or more specifically, a sweet meringue- based confection made with egg whites, sugar and almond flour, filled with either a buttercream, jam, or chocolate ganache (click here for more on its history). Our macarons are approximately 2 inches in diameter. 

CAN YOU PERSONALIZE MY MACARONS?

Yes! We would be happy to customize or personalize your macaron in order to meet your needs and tailor to any event.  We offer macaron printing, customized shell colors and mix and match options. Reach out to events@bywoops.com with your specific request.

ARE MACARONS GLUTEN-FREE?

Woops! macarons are naturally gluten free, however, they are not made in a dedicated gluten-free facility. 

WHAT ABOUT ALLERGIES?

Our macarons are made with almond flour and the fillings may contain dairy and other nuts. Our products also may come into contact with common allergens, including wheat, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, milk and eggs. 

HOW LONG WILL MY MACARONS STAY FRESH?

For best results, our macarons should be refrigerated and consumed within 5-7 days of delivery, or they can be frozen upon arrival for up to 3 weeks. Macarons are best served at room temperature. Please allow approximately 10 minutes to reach room temperature if coming from the refrigerator or 30 minutes if coming from the freezer. 

DO YOU SELL OTHER BAKED GOODS?

Woops! offers a selection of other specialty items at our boutique locations. Currently, only our macarons are available for purchase online. 

HOW CAN I PLACE MY ORDER?

Standard orders can be placed online. For special orders or events, visit our Events page or give us a call at (888) 599-1255 and we’ll be happy to serve you! 

WHEN SHOULD I PLACE MY ORDER?

Orders placed before 12pm (EST) Monday-Thursday are processed the same day. Orders placed after 12pm (EST) will be processed the following day. Orders received after Thursday 12pm and over the weekend are processed the following Monday. 

Please note, we do not offer Saturday delivery. To receive a delivery for the weekend with Second Day Air, orders must be placed before 12PM on Wednesday or by 12PM on Thursday with Next Day Air. 

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?

You can cancel your order ONLY if it has not yet shipped from our bakery. Please call customer service as quickly as possible following your order to request cancellation.  

WHERE DOES WOOPS! SHIP?

We ship nationwide in the US.  

HOW DOES SHIPPING WORK?

To ensure the freshest macarons possible, we use UPS next day or second day shipping. Ground delivery is available only within certain areas of the East Coast.

Please note, we do not offer Saturday delivery. To receive a delivery for the weekend with Second Day Air, orders must be placed before 12PM on Wednesday or by 12PM on Thursday with Next Day Air. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and distance. 

WHAT IF MY MACARONS ARRIVE BROKEN?

Some light breakage may occur during shipment due to the fragile nature of macarons. However, we take special precaution to ensure they’ll arrive in optimal condition. To achieve this, our macarons are placed in a protective clamshell and shipped chilled in special packaging. However, once they are out of our hands, we cannot be responsible for how they are handled by the shipper.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE WILL I NEED TO PLACE A SPECIAL ORDER?

For special events and catering, we will need 2 weeks notice.
